Great Fosters Wedding Photography
Great Fosters is a wedding photographer's dream for two simple reasons, it’s beautiful on the inside and it's also beautiful on the outside which is probably the same reason Kai and Ken decided to get married there. The grounds of Great Fosters offer plenty of options for group shots and couple shots, and the internal decor of this 16th-century mansion offers a great backdrop for every single shot. Check out the shot of Kai descending the stairs, this was one of the shots that helped me to get nominated for Best Wedding Photographer at the UK Wedding Awards.
Great Fosters Wedding Photographer
Kai's day started off with the bridal prep and a little surprise from Ken. Ken had put together a book of all their time together and got me to deliver it to Kai when she was getting ready, she was utterly blown away! Ken straight away put most Grooms to shame (NB I got married this year and this was such a thoughtful idea that I straight up borrowed this concept and made something similar for my wife Rebecca. Thanks Ken!)
The ceremony was filled with laughter and smiles and strangely absent of nerves, and the confetti coming down the aisle was fantastic! After this was drinks, where I got a fantastic collection of hugs (my favourite part of the day!). After this, we sneaked off for some couple shots. I usually like to limit this time to around 20-30 minutes as I don't want the day to turn into an extended photo shoot, but with all the options at Great Fosters, you could easily spend hours exploring all the different areas that there are to photograph. I am very happy with these couple shots as Kai looks beautiful, Ken looks handsome and the fantastic backdrop of Great Fosters just adds to every shot.
The speeches were filled with laughter and tears, and the dance floor was filled with an impressive amount of action. To finish the day, sparklers!! Congratulations to Kai and Ken!
