Epsom College Wedding Photography
Here is a small selection of photos from Maddie and Josh's wedding, with the ceremony in the beautiful setting of Epsom College and the reception at Walton Heath Golf Club. The day started with Bridal prep at Maddie's parents house in Kingswood Park. It was a great start to the day with the talented Tania Stephenson-Oliver working her magic as the makeup artist, and the house flooded with natural light making my job so much easier!

The ceremony was held at Maddie's alma mater of Epsom College and it made for a fantastic wedding venue. The chapel is stunning and the grounds around the chapel make for a great location for group shots and some couple shots.
The day finished at Walton Heath Club, and includes one of the most enduring memories of my photography career. As anyone who follows my blog knows, I always like to do some photography with the Bride and Groom during the Golden Hour. For those who are unaware of this term, it refers to a period of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky. The quality of the light at this time takes on a more magical property, if you have seen any of the early films of Terrence Malick you will know what I mean! As it had been a beautiful sunny day at Walton Heath Golf Club, I suggested to Maddie and Josh that we try and capture some shots during this golden hour, and they were more than willing and had an idea of their own! They grabbed a golf buggy and set off at high speed for the most picturesque area of the golf course. As the golf buggy only had two seats, I had to stand on the back as Josh flew across Walton Heath as the sunset. We grabbed some fantastic photos of Maddie and Josh to finish off an incredible day. Congratulations Maddie and Josh!
